Young Professionals Leadership Summit Addresses the Importance of Leadership
The Young Professionals Leadership Summit is a half-day event featuring an impactful group of leaders who will speak about the importance of leadership in life, business and the community. This year’s exploration of what it takes to be a leader for tomorrow will be covered at the October 17th event and the topics will vary based on the expertise and passion of the speaker. Most will include discussions about climbing the corporate ladder, starting a business and corporate philanthropy.
Who’s It For
Young professionals from all career stages are welcome. The attendees will range from recent college graduates to those well established in their careers. It is not all a great place to learn about the importance of leadership, but also to network with your peers. The purpose of the Young Professionals Leadership Summit is to connect, educate, encourage and inspire the next generation of leaders.
Past speakers of the Summit include Wing Lam, CEO of Wahoo’s Fish Taco, Steve Churm, CEO of Churm Media (prior to selling the company), Ivo Tjan, CEO of Commerce West Bank and Tina Aldatz, Founder of Foot Petals. The Summit has had over 20 speakers participate in the past two years. Topics have included “Roadblocks Young Professionals Face & How to Overcome Them”, “Climbing the Corporate Ladder”, “Philanthropic Networking” and “Creating Your Own Success”.
